Me Wade annonce ’’un prélèvement obligatoire’’ sur les salaires pour aider les survivants du séisme

Le chef de l’Etat sénégalais Abdoulaye Wade a annoncé avoir ’’préparé un projet de loi’’ pour un ‘’prélèvement obligatoire’’ de trois jours sur les salaires des agents du public et du privé de son pays, en vue d’aider Haïti frappé par un séisme meurtrier qui a ravagé une bonne partie de son territoire le 12 janvier dernier.


’’J’ai préparé un projet de loi qui institue un prélèvement obligatoire de trois jours de salaires dans le secteur public et privé pour aider Haïti’’, a dit Abdoulaye Wade interrogé par Radio France internationale (RFI).

M. Wade a rappelé que son gouvernement a déjà décidé de verser une somme d’un million de dollars (environ 500 millions de francs CFA) en guise de solidarité au peuple haïtien.

Il a fait cette annonce à Davos (Suisse) où il participe au sommet sur l’économie mondiale.

Le Parlement sénégalais, convoqué en session d’urgence sur la situation en Haïti, avait décidé vendredi dernier de donner une contribution de 50 millions de francs CFA pour venir en aide aux survivants du séisme en Haïti.

La contribution vise également à accompagner l’initiative du chef de l’Etat, Me Abdoulaye Wade, qui a versé, au nom du peuple sénégalais, une contribution d’un million de dollars (cinq cent millions de francs CFA).
