Le khalife général des mourides Serigne Bara est attendu à Dakar le 05 décembre prochain pour procéder au lancement des travaux de la grande mosquée Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, a annoncé hier au cours d’un point de presse son représentant à Dakar MBackiyou Faye.

La polémique autour de la délocalisation de Gouye Mouride au terrain de la Cnts peut connaitre son épilogue le 05 décembre prochain avec la visite à Dakar du Khalife général des mourides. En effet dimanche dernier des mourides qui ne veulent pas du tout que l’on déplace le projet de construction de la mosquée vers un autre lieu quel qu’il soit avaient accusé Pape Diop et Mbackiyou Faye d’avoir abusé Serigne Bara Mbacké. «Nous sommes mourides, mais ce qui nous a fait mal, c’est l’injustice qu’il y a dans cette affaire», avaient déclaré les contestataires, qui dénoncent un «deal» entre l’ex-maire de Dakar, Pape Diop, des hommes d’affaires Chinois, et Mbackiou Faye.  Hier le dernier nommé a fait une conférence de presse sur le site de la future mosquée, pour démentir les accusations portées contre lui. « Je viens d’attendre que le terrain Gouye Mouride intéresse les chinois. Tout ce qu’ils racontent de A à Z est faux », a déclaré Mbackiyou Faye. Avant de nier leur appartenance à la confrérie mouride. « Ils ne sont pas des mourides, ce sont tous des imposteurs », a-t-il ajouté.

Mbackiyou Faye a profité de cette rencontre pour annoncer la visite du khalife général des mourides le 05 décembre pour procéder au lancement des travaux de la grande mosquée. Le nouveau site  qui fait 40 Ha, va abriter, en plus de la mosquée, un institut islamique ultra-moderne, et une résidence Serigne Touba. Sur la prière de Tabaski, prévue ce samedi, le représentant du khalife général des mourides, a précisé qu’elle se fera sur le nouveau site conformément aux recommandations de Serigne Bara Mbacké.
